Michelle Omamteker
Michelle Omamteker is a Ugandan. She is exceptionally proud of her African heritage, believing her roots are what continue to create the woman she is becoming. It wasn’t always the case, as she battled vast insecurities throughout her life.
It is from this foundation that she precipitates the vision of interlinking social challenges such as insecurity, and social complexes, to the immense impact they contribute to the inequality burden in our societies. As an activist, Michelle Omamteker dedicates her time challenging false stereotypes and norms around Disability Rights, Race, Gender, and Economic Inequalities.
International platforms such as CNN, The New African Magazine, Voice Of America, CNBC, embraced her voice. As a writer, activist, and philanthropist, her message for the world is internal retrospection and
healing.
